   After careful review, we believe the problem occurs with logrotate daemon on Plesk Servers. On Plesk servers with apache2 (Debian/Ubuntu) and ModSecurity, there is an odd bug where system can lockup when reload is used in place of restart in /etc/logrotate.d/modsecurity and /etc/logrotate.d/apache2 configuration files.

   Changing the behavior to restart seems to fix the issue on all involved Plesk Servers.

   This problem would probably only happen on serves with larger logs that need to be rotated or servers with a high number of websites.

   Our team is working to bring up Plesk15. As you might recall, this seems to happen every other Sunday at around 7:15am. We will have the server online shortly and continue investigations into cron and other potential problems.
